"Dick and I absolutely loved ANGEL’s REST – it is like a fairyland cottage. The décor is great with angels and surprises hidden everywhere in the little nooks and crannies. Everyday we noticed something new. Each morning we had breakfast outside and once or twice a day we sat at the stream table and listened to the water. It was so very relaxing. We loved the upstairs bedroom with the clouds during the day and sleeping under the stars at night. We kept the upstairs balcony door open so we could hear the water all night and wake up looking at the angel on the balcony and the trees in the morning. Thank you again for sharing Angel’s Rest. This is a wonderful gift to all who visit here.”

After soaking in the princess style bathtub, sink into the luxurious pillow top queen size bed as the ceiling, which is painted to look like the sky fades to night and turns into a starry wonderland as you drift off to a restful sleep.
“What a lovely place this is! My husband and I so enjoyed staying here. We were thrilled to find such an adorable and welcoming spot tucking into the trees. Its is wonderfully peaceful, charming and romantic. It has been a perfect place to spend part of our honeymoon. We wish we could stay longer. Outside, the Wrap around covered front porch offers year round comfort as you feed apples to the passing deer, sip your morning coffee and listen to the creek that bubbles past the cabin or just gaze out at the peaceful gardens and meadow.
For your canine friends, we have multiple gate options if you want to keep your pup on the covered porch or let him down into the private fenced back yard. The studio in the backyard also has 2 giant size crates if you would like to use them and the washer/dryer. Ramps off the deck allow easier access. A 5 minute walk down the street will take you to the banks of the Dungeness River where you can see eagles soar overhead and the mountains rising in the distance. You’ll feel like you’re a million miles away and yet you are only a mile from downtown Sequim. The perfect location for the illusion of seclusion.

The conscious attitude to things having relationship to soul and spirit. Windchimes, Buddha statue, angel beings – canine and otherwise… The pervasive expression of love and connection to the infinite kindness and devotion of dogs. All the comforting, nurturing elements. The fabulous soaking tub. A kitchen one can actually use to cook a decent and complex meal. A thick wool blanket. Thank you.” |
